Product Description

Backed by years of experience and extensive development in the realm of classic motorcycles, the Classic Twin Ignition stands as a testament to precision engineering, compact design, and unwavering reliability. Say goodbye to maintenance headaches, as this zero-maintenance system ensures hassle-free operation for years to come. With built-in self-test mode and an LED timing indicator, fine-tuning your ignition has never been easier.

Compatible with a wide range of iconic models, including Triumph Unit Twins such as T100, T120, TR7RV, T140 Bonneville, Tiger, Daytona, as well as Norton Atlas, Enfield Interceptor, Norton Commando 1968-75, BSA unit twins, A65, A50, BSA singles like the B25, B40, B44, B50 and Triumph singles like the Tiger Cub, the Classic Twin Ignition brings unrivalled performance to your beloved ride.

This 12-volt system caters to both positive and negative earth/ground installations, ensuring seamless compatibility with your motorcycle's electrical setup.

To further enhance your ignition system, we recommend a range of accessories specifically designed to complement the Classic Twin. Opt for the Tri-Spark 6V high-performance coils (2 required for twins) for optimal performance, and choose from our selection of spark plug leads, including the right angle coil end or straight coil end, tailored to your bike's requirements. Complete the setup with spark plug caps for reliable ignition performance.

For single-cylinder bikes, we offer the Tri-Spark 12V high-performance coil and corresponding spark plug leads and caps to ensure a seamless fit for your unique configuration.

Kickstarting your engine becomes a breeze with our system's optimised starting performance, safeguarding your electric start mechanism from potential damage. Designed with your convenience in mind, we prioritise easy starting for a hassle-free riding experience.

When you invest in the Classic Twin Ignition kit, you receive a comprehensive package that includes the Tri-Spark stator unit (replacing the points plate), the Tri-Spark trigger rotor (replacing the auto advance unit and points cam), a detailed 12-page illustrated instruction booklet, and essential wiring terminals and hardware items for smooth installation.

While the Classic Twin is primarily designed for parallel twins with a 360-degree crank configuration, it can also be adapted for engines with offset cranks, such as 270-degree setups. Simply add the Offset Crank Rotor to your cart and specify the required degrees and bike model in the note section upon check-out to ensure a customised fit.
